Saughton Park and Gardens
Is a hidden gem in the south west of Edinburgh with the Water of Leith making a boudary around the park. Below we will disscuss the current features of a park we hold dear (more information and photos to come in due course).
The Walled Gardens
The walled gardens are perhaps the most famous feature of the park. They encorporate a number of beatiful themed gardens and areas and are open year round for visitors. More information on the Walled Gardens will be coming to the website soon!
The Skatepark
This is Edinburgh's first skatepark and is incredibly popular. More information about the skatepark will be coming to the website soon!
The Playground
The playground contains a range of play equipment such as swings, slide and a slying fox. We will be adding more information about the playground to the website soon.
Sports Pitches
The Sports pitches host a number of football games and are a great space for general sport and recreation. More information on the sports pitches will be added to the website soon.
The Winter Gardens
The Winter Gardens offer a different experience to the Walled Gardens. The indoor conservatory is host to a range of plants and a fish pond. There is also space here for community activities. We will be adding more information about the Winter Gardens to the website soon.
Water of Leith
The Water of Leith runs through the south side of the park and is a beautiful feature to enjoy year round. There are fantastic walks to be had beside the river. More information on the Water of Leith will appear on this website soon.
